{ Taryn + Jeremy } L'Auberge Resort Wedding

Taryn and Jeremy came out from San Antonio Texas for their wedding at L'Auberge this past March. We met more than a year ago and they had intentions of tying the knot in Santa Barbara, first at the Rincon Beach Club and then at Sunstone Winery in Los Olivos. They were torn regarding their decision for the best location for them. It wasn't until a fall trip out to California in 2008 and a slight mention of L'Auberge (my favorite venue) that the couple decided to look into getting married at L'Auberge. The sweetest couple ever! I loved working with you both and was so pleased to be a part of you special day.

Baby Will has arrived!

On a personal note...for those of you who know me and have been reading my blogs, my husband and I welcomed a baby boy into our lives Jan 23rd, 2009. Will Walker!! Here's a few photos my friend and AMAZING wedding photographer Heather Moreau of Vallentyne Photography took who captured these of him at just 4 wks old...I could simply eat him up!!!

Hard to believe 2009 is upon us! I worked with many wonderful couples in 2008 and was fortunate to do these weddings at such beautiful locations throughout California. A huge THANK YOU to all my brides for confiding and putting your faith in me that I could make your wedding day perfect.

I can already tell that 2009 is turning into a great year as well with more wonderful couples on the books. As we start off this year, today being the first of the year I must admit that my husband and I have been waiting patiently for January 2009 to come for almost 9 months now! We are planning to welcome our first baby into the world in less than 3 weeks (if the baby sticks to the due date). I wish everyone a wonderful, healthy and Happy New Year!

Chanelle and Todd exchanged vows on the Saturday after Thanksgiving at Seagrove Park in Del Mar overlooking the Pacific Ocean on a crisp, clear fall late afternoon. This couple adored and respected one another like no other couple I’ve ever seen before. You could feel the love and support at the reception by all of their friends and family, which was amazing! Simple, chic, eco-friendly and fun was the theme of this wedding. A little Hawaiian flare to the ceremony, a special hula dance by the Mother of the Bride, fun photo-booth, band and DJ that rocked till the wee hours…and yummy chocolate and coconut cupcakes as treats for all the guests. What a wonderful way to end my 2008 wedding season with a fabulous couple! Thank you so much C&T!
